I have come to the end of my own strength I think & just given up trying at the moment. Last week I didn't do much at all other than having a myotherapy massage (deep tissue massage).
This week will be much the same till I go into hospital on Thursday for the foot surgery that I have been waiting on. The surgery will hopefully fix the foot & get rid of the constant pain, make me able to walk on that foot too would be good.

I have got osteo-arthritis & avascular necrosis - which is basically caused by use of long term steroids (drip & orals for flare ups). I also used them for excema & asthma & the Dr's had been giving me them because of the severity of them. The bones have broken/crumbled in the ankle & across the toes area & the foot is now so bad that I can only walk on the heel & very outside of foot. They are also going to make my foot flat & straighten it so it doesn't point to the right.
It's going to be a big surgery & long recovery that means hospital & rehabilitation for 6-8 weeks & I am not looking forward to being away from home & in hospital etc for that long. I know I need the surgery & hopefully it will enable me to walk better & not be in pain from it all the time. I am not going to have much visitors if any other than my husband will come in a couple of times during the week & then on the weekend.
I know I will be crawling up the walls once I am upright & mobile etc. Mum said she might come in & visit (wont hold my breath). Other than that I don't expect anyone in. Will be better once David brings me in the computer & the stick so I have some internet access & also can watch movies & play games. David will bring in dvd's when I am up to it as well.

I wont be on here after Wednesday so hope all stay well as you can be. I haven't got any one's email address so will try to get one so that when I have the computer I can email updates.
