This is hard to explain...

This symptom is really hard to explain, but I have had it off and on for months now. The best way for me to describe it is a quick pulsating feeling in my upper body, my arms and head. If I was to imagine what high blood pressure feels like, this would be it, but I check my BP and its normal. Its not painful, just very anoying, I'm a little concerned. It only last a second at a time. It seems like it may be heart related, but I have no idea. Anyone ever have anything like this, or heard of anything like this? Thanks for your help.

I still waiting for an official diagnosis and my MRI. But I have a strange sensation in the left side of my chest. It feels like a quivering or trembling. It causes me to feel short of breath and I notice my breaths are faster and more shallow. The good news for me is that taking fioricet(a barbiturate similar to most muscle relaxers) helps a lot

Perhaps a muscle relaxer will help your symptom as well?

I'm like becca undx'd yet even though Dr. has thought so for the last couple of years it happens same time of year.MRI results neg. but he says some MS doesn't always show up.I'm still suppose to talk to a neuro.about.

I'm undxed, too. But yes, I get this all the time. I think it's a form of internal tremor. I started with the pulsating thing like you described. Then after a few months I started getting the shakes inside instead of just the pulsating. Now I can have either at any given time. When the internal tremor is really bad you can actually see it in my hands, sometimes my jaw even. Not sure what makes it come and go, but I've had my heart worked up and it's fine, my BP is always ok. So I think it's just one of those neuro sensory things.
