Im male, had a very short time period between my first two attacks, and not only lost coordination but completely lost my motor skills in my left hand, and previously in my left leg, and also tested positive for MBP at my first diagnosed flare up.

In my favor though, I also experienced fast and total remission, sensory loss as well as loss of motor skills, few lesions in the brain, no loss of IQ or gain of neuro deficit.

So, Im not really sure how benign my course will be with these mixed signs. For the last 2 years I have been doing pretty well though with one minor flare up recently that was mild with no loss of motor skills.

whoo hoo..havent moved from my 6.5 on the scale..grin..im doing good so far...lol...yep..who would have thought i would have been happy with basically a 65%...grin..yep gotta love being slightly below average as my son says..rofl...

I was diagnosed 17 years ago at 26. There wasn't much known then about MS, it was all doom and gloom. I'm so glad it's not like that now. I wish I had known more back then, but it probly would have scared the hell out of me. I take it one day at a time. I don't think anyone not even a doc can tell you how you are going to be in 5 years. Live one day at a time and always take time to smell the roses.
