I am newish to the board and I must say, you guys rock. I have had the roughest week of my life. The pain and spasticity has reached a whole new level and walking is becoming difficult. I also have problems eating, swallowing even breathing at times.

I felt I was going insane and no dr to help. My Neuro refuses to see me until January. NOT ACCEPTABLE. But you guys gave me ideas and suggestions.

I say my GP today and he is working with me. He said that I cannot have a Neuro that would treat me that way. That with MS I need to be seen when I have these type of issues.

He reworked my meds. Took me off of tizanadine (at my request) doubled my baclafen and added Valium.

He is also setting up an appointment for me with a neurologist that specializes in MS at Marshall University.

He also did some blood work to check my potassium, magnesium and vitamin levels to make sire there is no deficiency making all this even worse.

I was very pleased with what he did.

I am still in tremendous pain, but I feel hopeful that maybe in the next day or so i will see some improvement.

In the last week, in my darkest hours, you guys made me feel less alone and hopeful I can find help.
