Good morning.... so i have been on Tecfidera for 7 weeks now and am getting a bit tired of this!!!! such bad gas and tummy pains...pooping all the time...the flushing comes and goes but when it comes its crazy!!! I feel like my head (mental) is getting clearer then when i first started but all the other stuff seems to be the same....How long did this last for you???

I've been on Tecifidera for about 4 months now and have not experienced those side affects. Yes, I get the flushing but nothing else. I wouldn't suggest that you continue with the medication - it sounds like you are allergic to it.

I'm using Tecfidera for 3 months & suddenly noticed today how much better my walking has become. When I was on Tysaabri it had also taken about 3 months until I saw & felt better.

I started tec on May 28th. The first 3 weeks no side effects. The next 4 weeks threw up everyday. I was not quitting. Just when I started my 3rd bottle all the side effects just disappeared. I am so glad I did it. Keep with it----just think no more needles.

Thanks for the post. I am really wondering about switching over. But I read all the side effects. I wonder about the stomach problems. And the low white blood cell count.

I AM SO TIRED OF REBIF SIDE EFFECTS. I AM CONSIDERING STOPPING TAKING REBIF BECAUSE THE TIRED FEELING JUST NEVER GOES AWAY THE DAY AFTER THE SHOT.

Anyway, were you on interferon and it is any better than that?

ChrissyH, do you think that you feel better because of your diet that you are following or do you think that it is Tecfidera?

I was on copaxone for 4 1/2 months and after 4 it quit working and had a bad exacerbation and siezure. I was put on Tecfidera and still declining, walking is bad with serious fatigue. Flushing, heat sensitivity is back is back. It is like I'm on no meds. I believe I'm progressive now.
It really is working the good for people!

I have to say I've only been on Tecifidera for a week and only had to worry about gas pains the first 2 days and I've been fine with no other symptoms. Everyone is different and I'm sorry you are experiencing this and I hope it has gotten better for you.
