Take it Easy

Thinking today is a "take it easy" kind of day. I am super exhausted. I slept 8 hours but I've been yawning and out of it since I woke up. I had a horrible dream that I completely lost my balance and could barely stand up and kept falling down. I'm sitting here typing and I can't feel the fingertips in my left hand. Feeling like it would be best if I laid on a couch today and took a series of naps. Of course, I HAVE TO WORK! Joy.

How do you tell your boss, "Yeah, I know I look fine and I actually feel okay but if I don't get some rest today I'm going to be out for 3 weeks again."? Oh, wait, that might just work....

I know how tough it is to work with this fatigue. I have been honest with my bosses. So far they have been understanding. My MS specialist strongly believes that exercise is the best medicine for fatigue. But who wants to do that when you are so tired. Try to take it easy and rest when you can.

It would be easier if I had a more understanding boss. My company is awesome and I know they would never discriminate against me or fire me for my illness but my boss has never been a fan of me (mostly because of my "unreliability" which has been always been due to the STILL unnamed illness) can still make my life a living hell. I sent her an email just now about how screwy I am this morning and how I'm getting things mixed up and just not feeling right. Hope she won't respond sarcastically or rudely. Guess we'll see....

I ened up having to take Family Meical Leve- only problem wehn the 12 weeks of that was up I was not able physicallyn return to my job as a Social Worker- so now I am on Cobra paying double for my cobra insurance, have applied for nDDDI for the over 30years I have worked,My neruo leaning toward MS, won't give me DX yet, My ot is pretty sure it is MS as it appears my MD is.MD has scheduled my OT, MY audiogist MD.My neuro di the MRI, major blood work, LP, evoked eye e, Ihave had CT scans and a We are running out of things to check.Could you do part time like maybe during the part of your day you have the post energy??? Keep me posted Ellen

I do not know in what referance you are making, but an employer can charge no more than an additional 4% above what they pay for insurance.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
