Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for your reply. I really can't stand it when these nodes swell up. Then I used to go see my doctor about it and he would barely feel around and declare that I had no swollen nodes. I always wanted to say, "oh yeah? Then why do I look like a very greedy chipmunk right now?" But he probably would not have gotten it, and it would not have been worth the effort. He is soooo fired anyway. He has screwed around with my health care one too many times.
Can you believe he actually told me that cigarette smoking can cause all the MS symptoms I was having? The really sad part is I think he actually believes it himself.
Anyway thanks again. Its good to be reminded of the big pic sometimes cuz I do lose sight of it. Take care!
Friends,

This can be a symptom of Sjogrens for which I have all the symptoms, but not positive blood work. My latest neurologist here in France wants me to have a Cat scan to check for Scleroderma which my uncle have. I am having some problems with my health insurance at the time and are not able to have the Cat scan right now, which is stressing me out. The fact that Lymphoma runs in my family scares me as well.
I have done lots of reading and it could possibly be as simple as a overworked immune system, but with some scary alternatives I am sorry to hear the doctors are not taking you seriously.
All the best.
I know you have been searching for a dx for a while which is frustrating, it took me 5 years to get a dx & I ended up just not trying for a while but still going to the neurologist regular so he had a record of what was hapenening. I was fortunate I had a good neurologist from the start. Persist with the new neurologist you have found & be prepared for possibly a different dx like sjorgens or similar as a lot of diseases do mimic ms too.
Good luck with getting a dx & some help soon too. Lymph nodes can be a variety of things, even a reaction to drugs, food, antibiotics etc.
Try to relax too & even think of going to acupuncture or natural therapist maybe.
Take care
