What do you mean food may have been a factor?
I have had flares that left my walking marked different. In fact, different symptoms failed to disappear after flares. This is typical of MS.
Take care of yourself and hopefully your neuro will look more into this incident.
My walking WAS quite good, but after Friday's 'event' I am challenged to walk even a couple of feet without support. They prescribed me a walker, so now I am Walker, Texas Ranger.

I didnt experience anything that traumatic but I did black out a frame of about 24 hours where I cant remember doing anything that everyone said I did. It was a strange and scary situation. I never looked into it as my neuro never called me back nor did/has it happened again. Stress is definately not my friend...it was as if I had a split personality and the "split" person took over for 24 hours and I have no recall of the day what so ever. Now Im wondering more about what is going on.
I do rememeber years ago....having episodes where I would be driving and forget how to get home. And one time falling asleep at a stop light to wake to a car honking at me from behind. I thought those were stress tooo......now not so sure.
Thanks for sharing your story, and I will keep you in my prayers for improvement on your walking. Did they say that maybe you decline in mobility might be related to a TIA (mini stroke) Im not sure how a seizure would have such lasting effects, but a TIA might manifest similarly, I would ask for an MRI update if they didnt do one in the hosp.
Good luck to you
