Hi!

I would like to know how stress affects MS. I know that this disease affects each of us differently, but I have read/heard that stress does NOT affect ms but have also read/heard that it does! I guess the best way to answer this question is to ask how other MS victims have reacted to stress--that is, how their MS reacted when they experienced moderate to severe stress.

I have been under major stress due to a family problem. Yesterday was bad especially for stress. My knee started going quite numb and I could feel my leg becoming somewhat numb as well. After I was able to relax a bit and shift my focus, the symptoms left.

Stress is my worst enemy....my eyes go crazy...my vertigo goes beserk...shake like I have parkinsons disease and you name it ..... It happens when I get stressed. Stay away from toxic people...hard to do but when you can you FEEL SO MUCH BETTER!!! :)

Stress is a killer. I panic every time I to do something I don't want to do. Think that's why my drs told me I couldn't work anymore.
SX come out. I'm like a complete drunk. I have cognitive issue and forget everything.
That's one reason why I have a power of attorney so I don't have to "stress" out.

Again: yes. I got rid of one source of stress: i left my job. Another source of stress: my ex. That's gone. I react physically and emotionally. Not pleasant. It's real.

I have had Alot of stress over the years, didn't even realize how much until I started having panic attacks and the dr. put me on cilexa. WOW what a differance. Still have a lot of stress but doesn't effect me as much.
