For the past couple of days, I've had severe pain in my right wrist, and just today, the same type of pain in my right foot as well.. they feel very stiff and like they are swollen, but when I compare them to the other side of my body..they are not in fact, swollen.
A friend of mine told me it could be bursitis or arthritis. As I type my left hand and left foot are getting these same symptoms.
Does anyone have an idea if this is related to MS? Has anyone else had these symptoms, this really hurts and I have no idea how this began, it was just so sudden.
I plan on giving a call to my neurologist in the morning.
Now its like a stiff, burning pain, gah. I've been blessed to never have much pain with MS, but now it seems to be catching up with me :/

I've had the same problem, but in all my joints. I went to my family doctor and he said he thought it was my ms and sent me to my neuro. I was told by my neuro that he didn't believe it was ms related and now he is scheduling me with a rheumatologist. So I would follow through and see what your neuro thinks. I think you may have something other than ms. Who knows, but if it don't seem like your normal ms symptoms, find out!

I'd go to a Rheumatologist,for sure, sounds arthritic ...I have ms but my joints is arthritus...anyway get it checked because then they can give you some anti inflames...(some upet tummy so ask ok)

I called my PCP last night and she wants me to take a blood lab and head on to see a rheumatologist. This strikes me, as my older sister has been diagnosed with RA. And she even told me...when I was diagnosed with MS, to get a 2nd opinion because it very well could be RA. Hmm. Thank you two very much :)

I also had a family member with RA. It was my mother's aunt. I believe I have ms because of the type of lesions I had on my MRI, but I could have some other type of autoimmune disease as well. I hope you and I both get some answers soon.

yes yes..i have m.s. and fibro and now low thyroid,the fibro and low thyroid can cause joint pain..but i have arthritis along with all these things,my knee's are being affected for the first time in my long painful life,im 46 and started hurting at age 17 after a car wreck..

i hope you figure this out..

Just wanted to say that I have severe Rheumatoid. Have had it for years. The pain started with my wrist being sore almost jammed. RA is very painful. The stiffness is always worse in the morning or after periods of rest. I sisncerly hope you Don't have it because it has been a crippling painful disease for me. I been on methotrexate a cancer fighting or chemo injections and iv infusions for 3 years. Its a constant battle to keep the beast at bay. I have had symptoms or ms on and off for years now and waiting on mri of brain now. It's very possible to have several auto immune diseases. I sincerely hope hou don't have ra, but if u do and need advice, plz let me know.

I get these symptoms if I don't stick to my diet of no nightshades and no gluten. My neuro's naturopath says it is another autoimmune response to the foods. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid 20 years ago and my father who also has it recommended I try cutting these foods out. It worked.

I always assume "it" - whatever issue is going on - isn't my MS first. I try and deal with the issue before I throw in the towel and give it the MS label. At least then I have some control and power over "it".

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
