I just finished a 3 day IV treatment and am taking predizone tapering off...my question is I have to take 3 pills for 3 days then 2....so on but can I take all 3 pills at one time of the day or should it be staggered through out the day?

Ask your doctor or pharmacist to be sure, but I think it's ok to take them all at one time. I always do mine that way so I don't have to keep up with "How many have I taken and is it time to take another one?" Plus, if you take them all in the morning you won't be taking any at night, which MIGHT help with the sleep issue.

I would call the pharmacist or doctor...I think it's all at once I don't remember clearly though.

Your script should mention how to take this. IT's very touchy stuff and does matter. Ask the doc or at least ask the pharmacist - they usually know lots more about the medications than the docs do. (Guess that's why it's recommended to develop a relationship with the pharmacist - I love being able to get some great advice from mine - it's more of a challenge getting to know all of the ones on different shifts, lol. - and now that I don't really use pharmaceuticals anymore, I only ask about over the counter drugs so that's not very often, lol.)

When I take the six pills I split it in to two doses, but when I just have to take the three and two pill, I just take them all at once. I just could not keep up with it. I did call the pharmacist though just to make sure it would be alright.

Not only was this the first I'd heard of this, he also mentioned that fat serves a purpose in our metabolism. Another new factoid for me. The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...
