just missed dx MS. my MS showed
up on my lower spine and not on the brain where most doc look.
that are being noted these days. We simply do not have the tests for them so we are labeled with "something" until we have a definative diagnosis. Most of these things happen as result of exposure to a virus, even as a child. And as Virii are constanly mutating we end up with all these neuro syndromes with no tests, no name and no treatment. I was actually told by one neuro that I did not have MS even though I have bright lesions all over the place.(sigh). I would look into something called Meniere's disease. I don't know if you have ear ringing or not, just s thought though since you have the other symptoms.
Best Wishes
I only have one lesion and spinal was negative but I know I have MS, I just haven't found a doctor intelligent enough to dx me.
At this point i'm waiting for the MS specialist to see me. I took an ink pin and stabbed myself in the calf several times and looked at the doctor and said no pain, cant feel them. I'm soooo done with this. I'm tired of doctor's not answering my questions. If there is nothing wrong with me why is my face numb, my head on fire, my bladder jacked, I could go on and on and on. My heart went out to someone on here yesterday, "My trip to the Neuro" I sooo felt her pain.
No one has yet to tell me why I have a severe vitamin D def. I'm not a hermit! Well I wasn't until my muscles got so bad and fatigue that I can't drive.
These doctors have become numb. My sister is a nurse practioner and she told me the other day I'm so sick of hearing people complain about their sickness if their not on a vent, with a feeding tube, they need to stop whinning, their are plenty of people more sick than them.
Well dont we hear more than anyone, "Well you look fine?"
Sorry to ramble on and on, I just wonder where the compassionate people are?
Diane
I agree with Dave keep a journal and bring to a new Neuro. It still sounds like MS to me. I hope not.
Love ya!
