Shortage of Adderral

Ok called my doctors office to acquire a new script for the adderral, they say there is a shorage and she will leave message for her to call me says she might have to try something else. OMG in a panic. The reason I love adderral is the price and two it was working somewhat.

I literally had to call 15 stores to get my prescription filled. They said it was on manufacturer back order! Try calling smaller pharmacies in your area. I found mine at a Walmart but it was not a Super Center. It was one of those Walmart Neighborhood Markets.

Not in the strict sense of the word, meaning business process; there is no shortage, not of amphetamine. Instead, there is a major scew-up in distribution.

Amphetamine is so popular and it has such a long history as a generic.

So people do have to devote a lot of time in finding a supplier. I got lucky and found the neighboring pharmacy that had it; did it only with one phone call.

However, there are plenty of horror stories of those who were not so lucky as I was.
