1.) Memory problems for men (could also be low B vitamins, low thyroid or poor circulation)
2.) fatigue (can also be low cortisol if at night, low thyroid if in morning or growth hormone if mild fatigue throughout day)
3.) muscle sagging or atrophy (low growth hormone affects this too)
4.) low libido (for BOTH men and women)
5.) belly fat (too much stress[cortisol] and insulin imbalances affect this too. Obviously too much food and too little exercise affects this too.)
6.) depression

Try taking your meds a little while before you have sex and see what happens:). I don't know about antidepressants because they are hopeless drugs as far as sex is concerned.
It is a difficult one for sure.
The way we are trying to deal with it is use gel (I am always dry), go gentle - as much as possible & then I make sure I drink plenty of water the next day as well as take my tablets etc.
I have baclofen every day & the dr's wont increase the dose as I am on 1 x 25mg 4 times a day & next option is a pump which I don't like the idea of at all.
I am assuring him that it doesn't worry me that I don't have an orgasm & I am happy when he does. We are enjoying the closeness of being together regardless of if either of us reach orgasm or not.
This is after I was dx in 2005 & it does ebb & flow too. Sometimes it affects us & others it doesn't. Main thing is to talk about it together & don't make it the main thing in your relationship. We have been married for 29 years & look at this as another hurdle to be able to deal with. A good relationship should hopefully be able to cope without having sex too.
I understand what you are going through.
Have you guys talked to an endocrinologist that treats SYMPTOMS and low part of normal range with BIO-IDENTICAL hormones?
They have had studies with sex hormones and MS and found some have very positive results. I recently seen a hospital in MI that is looking to use progesterone(female sex hormone) as a neuro-protectant treatment for neurological brain problems coming into the ER.
I know someone with MS that started the hormone treatment and it has vastly increased orgasms. This is anecdotal(not research) but very true.
AusSue sometimes DRYNESS is due to lack of female sex hormones (see previous replies on page 2 of this post). When you have sex hormones are released, this is a fact. I kinda think that if you don't have the raw requirements to make them then it might drain you to try to do this (one idea).
UCLA has done sex hormone studies with MS and had some positive results. If you are interested print out the research in my previous posts or in your own search of PubMed. Then talk to an endo that treats SYMPTOMS not one that ONLY treats bottom 2.5% of the population.
Best wishes,
