Being self Aware,
Is it a good thing,
Understanding how your body and mind works can be hell at first but as you get used to it are you able to use it to your advantage.
I know I use it to control pain, knowing why we have pain and the different pains we have.
Able to understand what is going on in your head, understaning the affects of down time and up time, able to control your moods when you feel up or down, knowing how your tummy feels when your down and the affect that has on you mind, understanding that is most cases it state of mind that controls the way you feel inside.
Understanding these differences lets you control your inner most feelings, able to understand what gets you up and what brings you down and avoiding the worst of the worst.

I often find myself experimenting by trying new and or different things to help the up from down and down from up.
Trust me guys, its all state of mind.
Get to know your self again, understand your differences,use your mind to try different things for up and down.
