I had 1 petite-mal seizure at work soon after starting Ampyra. I cut back to only taking 1 per day instead of 2 per day.

Seizures was one of my very first symptoms that took me to the dr. 25 yrs ago when I first got the dx. That and the numbness in my arms and visual disturbances. The seizure meds over the years have kept them under control.

Yes my friend started having seizures with spinal cord lesions.

Yes, I experienced petite-mal seizures and I believe I still have them sometimes. No treatment for them though.

Thanks to all of you. My daughter is going to another neurologist today. She is on 2000 keppra and it has not slowed the seizures. She has had eye trouble also. This is really making me nervous because I have MS. The MRI showed 1 lesion on the frontal lobe. We alll know how hard it is to get a dx. I just pray it is not MS. Thanks for getting back to me.

I experience the seizures where I just blank out -"lights are on but no one is home". Have gone through testing & nothing showed but husband & friends have witnessed them. I can't remember the name of them - sorry I have a lot of blanks where I don't know words (as a lot of us do).
They are definitely ms related.
