Never had that problem, should maybe talk to your neuro or see an eye doc just to make sure.

I also never had that problem but I read a post of another woman who was seeing things in a single color and it was being treated as a relapse---it was all the time, not briefly in the morning - so perhaps it is a warning of what will eventually be a relapse? I think(?) her color was red, she was seeing everything in red...It was a long time ago that I read that post so I might not remember the details right.

She described it amusingly, I think she was a writer thats what makes me remember it at all.

No, I don't really have that happen, a;though wheni had ON, I did have some strange color things going on, amazingly, I can't quite remember the exact details. I would talk to both neuro and eye doc...best to be careful.

distortion of red and green are noted as an early ms symptom - though i've never esperiened it. i'd definitely talk to your neuro!

Yes, it is a symptom of optic nerve problems in MS. I have seen, upon getting up, orangish and yellowish with a dimming of vision.When I get tired later in the day, those colors and dimming come back.Over 23 years my overall vision has become darkened in more normal hours and even sunlight.
I find that when I get overheated(from indoor heat, not outdoor dry heat), this eyesight problem quickly pops up.I experience it more in humid times like I did back in the Midwest.The dry heat in AZ has added nor more to it, actually seeing better outdoors here.
So I am still looking for my halogen lamps to unpack, but also find that those energy saving white bulbs bring up my vision.
These 'color' visions are not that uncommon.

When low vision problems due to the optic nerve involvement(very common) in MS first hit me years ago, my eye opening narrowed down rapidly and my eyes became tiny slits of openings. I wear darkest prescription low vision sunglasses outside in the SW.
Indoor lighting is a problem.I don't use incandescent lighting at all; use some halogen and some flourescent without the coating on the bulbs in all fixtures, keep the drapes open when it's sunny.
I say it is like watching the intro to the old TV program-"Tales from the Darkside".

I thought that I was alone! I only saw everything in green one night.It was right after I had Just gotten the dx that I not only had MS I also had a large (benign) tumor pressing on my brainstem. Nice 45 th. birthday present. Since then I have had the tumor mostly removed and been on copaxone over a year. I feel much better and have never had the experience again. It was interesting though dr. could not give a difenitive answer.
