Whew! No new "Beauty Marks" or new activity!! I'm so happy my neuro is pleased with my results and I don't have to have to see him for another 3 months! So I will be sticking, well, I guess literally "sticking" to the Betaseron for now! The only thing that upsets me is my hair falling out like it has because of the shots.

Question...Has anyone on or has been on Betaseron had any issues with hairloss? My Beta-nurse says there has been other people that have had this symptom.

I'm sorry about the hair loss, not on that drug... however I'm really glad you don't have any new lesions. Take care.

Congrats on your good news!

As far as the hair loss, I've been on Betaseron for years . . . no hair loss here. What other meds are you on? Have you had your thyroid checked recently?

Yes, I was losing hair when I first started betaseron but its just until your body gets used to the medicine.

Well yeah I had that problem for about 3 or 4 months that my hair wopuld fall pout more than usual then it got better. So I might get better for you.

I was on betaseron for 4 years and no hair loss. Been on copaxone for 6 years and have been noticing over the past 6 months some hair loss? Maybe it's an MS thing for some of us?

I had hair loss with Avonex. I was leaving a trail whereever I went. Luckily I have lots of hair. It stopped after I was off it for a year or two, so far not hair loss with copaxone. I don't know of anything that would help the hair loss. My neuro used to say well if it gets bad you could get a wig. DUUHHHH.

if it gets too bad, talk to your doc and at least let him/her know about it.

I'm sorry to hear about the hair loss... I was on Betaseron for a year, and all it gave me was fevers and exacerbations... definitely not for me. Take care!
