the rebif nurse bailed, i've been waiting for my prescription to go through for a bit over 2 years, so i'm very angry and disappointed - we had her visit planned for 2 weeks and the rebif is in the fridge.
i've watched the instructional videos over and over again throughout these 2 years, and know exactly what to do. i don't want to wait even another second, let alone reschedule. has anyone just used their shots without a home nurse? i dont want to use an auto injector because i'd rather see the needle go in, i've always just been that way about shots, iv's etc. is that easier for a beginner? i feel like manual is less complicated.
i'm also going on a trip with my friends in august, and we're college kids, so i need to be comfortable with the process of shots really soon, and also need to know how i react to interferon.
this is stupid and extremely irresponsible and inconvenient, nobody even told us anything until we called a couple times.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...

That's so irresponsible of them.
My daughter had a nurse both times to walk her thru the process. I was there both times. When I started , I refused the nurse, because it wasn't necessary.
You can do it, however I recommend you do it, during daytime and have someone there just in case you have a reaction to the medication.
This is not to scare you, I always do that when taking anything for the first time.

after that, i got really sleepy and was out cold for about an hour, my boyfriend came over and we were watching soccer, i felt like benadryl sleepy for awhile - does this happen sometimes? i dont really have a red spot, but more of a very light bruise with a bump. no flu symptoms and i think the ibuprofen's worn off but still pretty sleepy i'd say, like definitely more than usual. and my leg's kind of sore if i put weight on it, that seems just like part of having a shot though
having someone there, and the video were useful tips! i felt like it went pretty good
You've got the power!!!! I'm Glad it went well. Now they'll call you tomorrow saying she's on her way to your house,,,LOL
