Mornings take a bit to get the discomfort out of the way but I do get it under control. Knitting keeps it under control too. Movement through the day makes the next day easier.

I am luckily able to control it with just Celebrex at a low dose. I have had joint pain for at least 4 years now, and it gets worse when I don't exercise or when it's damp/rainy out.
I'm not sure if it came on suddenly for me or not. Definitely do bring it up with your doctors.

I'm almost 30 and I have degenerative arthritis in both my knees and my neck. Though, no doctor has ever suspected another type of arthritis (reumatoid,etc.), and I have never questioned it..
I have also had the arthritic feeling in my hands that comes and goes - they feel really stiff and sore, usually in just my right hand. I'm sure it's possible that the feeling you are having could or could not be related to MS.
When I found out I had actual arthritis in my knees a couple years ago, I didn't believe that could be possible being so young. Both my orthopedic and physical therapist said that it can happen at any age...who knew??
i too thought i was too young but my rhummy told me that RA can hit in young women in their 20's frequently
