I had another brain MRI done three weeks ago. I had one made back in February 2006. My neurologist was comparing it to my baseline which was in October 2006 (dx 12/06) However, I find that strange (I wish I thought about it in his office) because the one in February showed more lesions than baseline. Shouldn't he be comparing to that one. He said that compared to the baseline it was better. But that doesn't mean it is better than February's, does it? Surely, he looked at both.

He is looking for whatever is causing my legs to get weaker, especially my right one and I am losing bowel control. I am having a total spinal MRI done on Jan 2, 2008. Do most of you have just brain MRI's done or both brain and spine?

I am using a walker and even that is becoming more difficult. I got stuck at the store because they didn't have any riding scooters. I thought I could make it. My legs have been just getting weaker with attacks or whatever more frequent. I was walking /dragging, leg not wanting to move, at a snail pace. I didn't know if I would get out of the store. I was ready to faint. I was exhausted. Anyway, I did out with help.

Do most neurologist just do brain MRI to begin with do dx MS? When did some of you have a spine MRI done and why? Thank you.
