Oh yeah, my legs are my biggest enemy. In and out of wheelchairs several times. My doc dx'ed me with PRMS. I find that eating or drinking a concoction of THC is the only thing that helps when it gets really bad.

I have really bad leg problems. They also hurt 24/7, but I'm not in a wheelchair or walk with a cane. It just drives me NUTS! I've also tried all kinds of meds from steriods to chemo drugs. I'm now on a new med, but so far it hasn't been working.

My doctor doesn't think mine is MS related, so I don't know what the problem is.

So, you are definitely not alone.

I don't know about it taking 5 yrs to be diagnosed, though. I know everyone is different. It took me 4 yrs, but I know of others that were diagnosed pretty quickly.

I hope MS is not your problem, but I hope they find an answer for you soon!

I have leg problems as well but here is a new symptom, when I get out of the shower if I get the water to hot my legs itch for hours......
i did it last night and my legs kept me up half the night itching, and I mean painful itching.
do you ever have this one??

I've not had itching yet. I do have the burning sometimes. MOstly its a very deep, ache, very painful, and the muscle twitching, weakness. I will be going to a Pain Clinic soon since nothing else has given me relief. None of the meds work. I feel the best when i've resting along time and stretches and yes a concoction here and there, mostly wine! i was dx with RRMS in 2005. I've not had clear relapses, just constant/chronic symtoms. I seem to fit the PPMS category but doctors have said i'm not, they really dont' want to tell you that you have PPMS because there is no treatment at all for it. The shots are useless for PPMS. I take copaxone and it hasnt helped at all. I'm still working about 25 hrs. a week, its a major struggle. Thanks for everyone's replies.

When you say THC. do you mean mariauna?? I've heard alot of people use it because it helps with the pain better than anything else. I know Montel Williams uses it, he's tried every med in the world and says pot is the only thing that helps him. I don't have a problem trying the pot, its just in the past when i was younger when i smoked it, it made me real nervous/anxiety and i paniced on it sometimes. good grief.

Yep, pot. I have friends that make stuff for me. I usually drink it. just put several drops in my coffee or something.

I don't smoke it either, can't stand the way it makes it feel. But ingesting it works on the body instead of the mind, so none of those icky side effects.
