I am wanting to know please if any of you have had insurance cover any particular types of physical therapy or massages for treatment of MS? I have such tension in my neck that it exacerbates the MS symptoms. My CNS seems to be incredibly sensitive to stress of any kind.

my husbands private insurance covers massages for ms..and physical therapy..but of course it is the pay now...get re-imbursed later type of insurance...sigh... and every couple of weeks we are sending out aprox.. 600 in prescription drug receipts...sigh.... so when we get the cycle down pat...grin... then i think i am going to try the massage...or at least make husband take a massage class... that would be a two in one bonus...grin... he can learn the art of massage... i can get them for free...anytime... and they may lead to something else...heh heh heh

massages on my back freakin kill me...just give me the vibrator thingy (you know that has the three legs ) not the other kind of thingy.

I have wanted a good massage for a long time...just think that the next day I will not be able to walk cuz it will hurt too bad. I am going to a spa soon cuz I am turning 40 this year (so sad), and I am going to have like a swedish thing done....hope it isnt bad. Just wondering if the stimulation is badf fort he muscles or good for themuscles?

I have had several messages and they were great. I just told her when I was feeling to uncomfortable and she slowed down on that spot (mostly my neck). I didn't feel it to bad the next day. My husband has good insurance so that is a blessing! Take care

YES I GET PHYSICAL THERAPY 3X WEEK. FIRST TWO DAYS R EXCERSISE AND STRENGHING AND THE THIRD DAY IS A MASSAGE. AND YES I INSURANCE DOES PAY 4 IT.

I stopped going to PT, I couldn't afford the copays with med copays too. It helped though, each session ended with a massage. He could zone in on spots that were trouble ...maybe I should have ditched meds instead

Mine dosen't cover massages but only gives 20% off. It does cover PT but only for a set amount of time. My neck does the same thing and a massage really helps. It is painful but in a nice way. I have told them that if I say ouch or ohhh like it is hurting to carry on unless I say stop.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
