Hi all,
I took an aleve before my rebif injection and woke up with a burning stomache ache which didn't go away. My doctor prescribed pariet which reduces stomach acid. I've been taking it for about a month and my ms has been very aggravated with many new symptoms. I have no idea if these things are related, but im starting to get worried. Unfortunately my stomach hasn't completely healed, so I'm supposed to keep taking the medication. Has anyone had a similar experience?

I realized that about a week prior to this, I had a TB test, and a few days later my symptoms began, but It has been weeks now of different symptoms. My body has never felt this haywire in the last 8 years of having MS. I also just started rebif in July.. Everything feels out if balance.

Did your Neuro give you the TB shot? If not, did you tell him about receiving one? Could be the shot has given you an exacerbation or at least a side affect. Just a thought!

I've been taking Rebif for about 11 years and never had stomach problems. Mostly, headaches, scar tissue from the shots and the flu symptoms the next day. I feel really tired. And weak sometimes too. I feel very lethargic.

You can call MS Lifelines (1-877-447-3243) and speak to a nurse and ask them about this. You can also call your neuro. I would definitely speak to someone about this.

I have been on rebif for 2 years. The first year I had really bad acid reflux. I checked for an ulcer and for h pylori and it was just really bad acid. It only started after I started rebif so I am sure it contributed my stomach acid. It didn't go away until my doctor put me on Nexium.
