part time disability

Anyone here on part time disability? Today is my 1st day, cutting down from 40 to 30hrs. Is it hard to qualify? Any input would be great.

No such thing as part time disability. If your company pays you benefits for working 30 hours you are considered full time. Don't know what the criteria is now but if you are part time and no benefits no disability (at least from company for short or long term). SSDI completely different.

I have heard if it. I heard that you are covered by Medicaid health insurance. That is all I know. Good luck with it.

Seeing as your in CA I googled it and here is a link to part time disability, I never heard of it so maybe it is a stste by stste thing

Is this stuff really this confusing or is it just me. I have a hard enough time understanding simple instructions, this is a nightmare :P Thanks for all your input.
