I know take a muscle relaxer that I have found to give me some relief and that I can tolerate. I only take it at night so that I can function during the day. I also use somethng called a Flexor patch from time to time. It is a script patch that you apply directly to the area. It does make me a bit dizzy (some would say it has nothing to to with the patch LOL) and it does feel a bit gooey, but it seems to help. Thats my experience in a nutshell.. I just hope this goes away sometime in the future. It is awful to wake up every morning and be in pain. Good luck. If you want more specifics or have any advice for me (!) message me.

Deeitme is right massage can make things much worse. I use ice to make the swelling in the levels go down...then heat. It is a terrible thing to have your neck in a kink...
I am so sorry you are hurting so much try ice and if all fails call you Doc. They may want to see you...this is too long for it to be a 'passing' thing... I hope you feel better soon.
