I have been on several of the crabs and could not tolerate the effects. My doctor realized this too and agrred to put me on LDN. It has been wonderful for me. He didn't want to see me on nothing, so he agreed to the LDN. He is open-minded enough to do that. He has monitored me with yearly MRIs and they have been clean. We are both pleased.

Now, my btother is suffering with an aggressive bladder cancer. I joind that group too as I am his care-taker. He is my twin and has had mental issues all of his life. Anyway, his surgery for the urostomy has to wait for almost 4 months. He will be on no therapy in the interim and his cancer is aggressive. I asked his doctor to give him the LDN, it works for bc as well, I'm told. But his doctor won't hear of it. If it were he or his brother in my brothers shoes would he let them go with no treatment for that time? I bet not. I think this doctor, like so many othesr, is very narrow minded.

I am grateful that my doctor is not. I understand that many neuro's see a potential with LDN and will use it in their practice, even if there are no clinical trials to support it.

I vent here, because it hurts sooo much watching what my brother is going through. I suspect this is my last Christmas with him. I pray each night for him. and yes, this stress is affecting my MS for the worse.

I wish doctors could replace their arrogance with some open-mindedness.
