People tell us to be our own best advocate, maybe you can help your brother do that. And doctors are not gods.....you can fire them......we pay them to treat us in a manner deemed appropriate, sometimes they fail.

Thank you for your response, i greatly appreciate it. I agree with you but feel I can't do anything here but watch. If it were me though, it would be totally different.
My thought about the doctor not wanting to use LDN may be in large part that it is a strong opiod antagonist. If he is taking narcotics for pain it would probably block the pain relief.
Unfortunately this the big reason I can't take LDN. I am on perocet for chonic, fairly severe pain.
I don't know if you are near a Cancer Treatment Center of America hospital. I have heard nothing but positive things. They take a wholistic approach mainstream and alternative.
I think it would not hurt to get another opinion. Delaying surgery in a patient with aggresive cancer is not something I could accept.
