It did appear that the numbers for skin cancer and herpes were very low, but this is at 24 weeks. I am a little unimpressed with a study of 222 MS patients which is making claims about a reduction in lesions and relapses. The disease is...RR...so despite the comparison of a placebo group to medicated group, well, that would be like you and I, one taking a drug and one not and then seeing which one did and did not relapse...would we have or have not anyway? I just don't put alot of stock in short-term trials that claim to change relapse periods, and especially when they are using MRI results as part of that measure, raise your hand if your relapses are all related to a lesion or if they are something you can chart like clockwork.
