are you having what is called internuclear ophtalmpplegia? This was my first MS attack simptom 2.5 mos. ago. I started with vertigo that was not going away for 3 days (unusual and probably central vertigo as opposed to peripheral) and the next morning I had double vision when I got up.

When I close my eyes tight I hear a "wave" sound like in the ocean. Is this what you mean? I've had it for a long time, it never goes away, but it not bothersome because I just don't squeeze my eyes tight.

Sounds like an appointment with an ophthalmologist is in order?

I saw my MS specialist yesterday, told her about my eye issues but forgot to tell her about the noise. My eyes are bouncing like crazy when I look side to side. It's so hard to explain the noise but it's usually worse in the morning.

hi- sorry u are goin through this!! i get the veritgo and have to keep eyes -closed!! but always have a noise- always- its better- they put me on steroids again- lol!!

Steroids do help but where I live it's $750 per day:( Oh well what are we to do. Have a great day.
