I get a muffled noise that almost sounds like throbbing but I can't feel it. I also get muscle twitches, those I can feel. I don't know what causes the noise but at least your not alone.

I use to hear singing in my ears when I went to bed. I would ask my husband where the music was coming from and would say that there was no singing. It was just in my ears. It hasn't happened since I stopped working, so I just think it was from work stress.

I work in management for a large retailer and needless to say this is the most stressful time of year.

I have had that & the local Dr looked & said I had wax in my ears & a bit of an infection. I have drops & also some cream to use if not wax as also had bad infection & all red inside ears.
Needless to say you need to go to local Dr to get them to check them out.
I have had the noises & singing & a muffle noise in my ears. As I wear hearing aids this is very hard as can't wear them when noises in ears.

I have something called, hyperacusis. Probably similar to tinnitus.

Noises all seem too loud & to surviv I need to wear wax ear plugs.
Not fun & very isolating.

Having clear hearing is very important to maintain our balance-that's what my Physical Therapist told me today-he gave a really good explanation of how our ears can be even more important to balance than using our eyes. You should definitely have your PC check them out & refer you on to a specialist before it gets worse.
