No Sleep

Has anyone experienced an inability to sleep. I have been up since Sunday, one hour of sleep from 4 until 5 a.m. this morning. And at this moment I am not tired at all.

Yes, going to the doc Thursday to get another script for Tamazapam. Side effect - SLEEP!

I took Tylenol PM for years but needed more. Most scripts for sleeping med are too expensive for me

Ambien CR has been effective for me whenvever I've had bouts of insomnia. Also, as soon as that first sign of sleepiness hits, that's the time you should go to bed. Start winding down as your bedtime approaches, cutting back on all acivities. The last thing you want is to be all wound up at bedtime.

You might ask to be given an oximetry test and a sleep study test to see if you have sleep apnea. But, yes, MS'ers have bouts of insomnia. When happeneing to me, I think I am going to loose my mind without sleep.
