Thanks for response
I have not been dx with MS yet but I had the EXACT same thing happen to me in my left arm. The blood clots appeared out of nowhere. I could barely move my left arm. I was out of work for over a week.
It is not dangerous. I had a doppler done and it confirmed it. They just said to rest my arm as much as possible. Hence, I was off work for more than a week and I was fired for it. I was not there at my job long when it happened. Bummer but hey, I had to take care of me.
You hang in there. I am struggling to get a dx. It is very hard and this disease is really something else...meaning, soooo complicated! I cannot believe how complicated it can be.

But phlebitis?
Well I developed that in my leg and was told
1. it was phlebitis
2.it was tendonitis
3. it was definately from MS
4. from my neuro-it was definately not from MS.
I had an ultra sound to look for a clot too but the swelling was down around my ankle so nothing could be seen in those little veins.
And then 3 more diagnosis's from 3 different doctors :/
IS phlebitis a possible MS symptom?
it was my foot that was swollen the most they found it with the doppler scan.
I've never heard of phelbitis so dont know what that is. Was told it isnt anything to do with ms but could be because of medications.
All I know is that I am still in a lot of pain & even though have had the support stocking on all day my foot has still swollen. Still been going hot & then chills so dont know what is going on. Just wish my body would settle down.
Will check leg again in the morning as itis swollen at the back this morning.
