Just joined yesterday...close to a dx but not there yet. Anyway, this is my first recorded exacerbation. Started with double vision, bouncy eyeballs, facial weakness around my mouth, balance problems. 3 days IVSM, was almost back to normal. Now I'm 1 week out. The double vision is back and the left side of my face will not stop twitching. Eyebrow, cheek, eyelids, under my eye, my lip. And now my lower eyelid is in a constant spasm. It doesn't hurt but my eye is half shut. Not pretty. Aaaaaand my neck is starting to spasm. Guess my left side is my problem side.
My WBC count is up so they think I have a virus and it is causing a mini flare. I'm starting to wonder about whether I'm an RRMS or PPMS. This is my 3rd week out of work. When should I reasonably expect this to start fading a bit? Don't want to do IVSM again and not even sure they would repeat it so soon. Guess it's time to call the neurologist again in the morning. I swear I call them every day. Hope everyone is doing well....

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
Good luck with your MS. It can get better in a couple of weeks or less. It all depends. Try to eat well and take good care of yourself and that helps a lot.
If you are as uncomfortable as you sound, yes, call the neuro. I don't think there is anything else they can do for you since you already had a steroid burst, but he/she can explain the healing process to you to keep your mind at peace. Stress also causes symptoms to flare, so do what you have to to keep the stress down. If that means calling the neuro, than so be it.
I hope you feel better soon! {{{{{HUGS}}}}}
