I just thought I would introduce myself. I was diagnosed with MS in 2006. I was on C for a few years until I started having too many IPIRs and it was determined that I'm allergic to it as well as the other CRABs due to the amino acids. I am not on any DMD at the moment.

I joined Daily Strength as I was recently dx with diverticulitis and part of me thinks that the constipation associated with MS may have played a role in developing diverticulosis. I saw there was an MS group and decided to join the group as well. Additionally, I was just dx with lupus/sjogrens. Yeah me! The rheumy thinks it's mild though and I'm glad about that.

I look forward to getting to know many of you and sharing experiences with you all.

Welcome to the club that nobody wants to be a member of! haha. Seriously, this is a great community of folks, caring and sharing. There are sub groups that we have. Go to the top right hand corner of your screen in green where it says "Groups" and click it on. There will come up a list of sub groups full of a wealth of information too for you. I hope you soon get on a DMD as it is awfully important to your future. There are so many new orals on the horizon. I just started Tecfodera about 3 months ago, after being on crab drugs and Tasabri. I hope you find a good drug for yourself.

It is horrible that you have been bombarded with so many medical concerns. I'm glad too that your rheumy thinks the lupus/sjogrens is mild. I'm sorry for that though. Life throws us so many curve balls. It is not how we catch it, but what we do with the ball after.
