my friend started a food fund for me..

My friend is soooo nice..she's only 21 and she's awesome..been the only female friend who visits me @ home..she comes n hangs out with me every week..at first I didn't want any company but she persisted in coming over..now that I've been feelin better I remember how it was to appreciate hangin out!..we went window shopping just to get me out the house n today she told me she started a fund at her job n her friends to pitch in money just so I can go food shopping...always buyin lunch for me ciggs etc..I was in shock I started to tear up..one for feeling like a charity case..but 2 is I never had a friend who cared enough to help me out..I'm so grateful for her and I was about to take her for granted..ud think id learn my lesson!!

You are very lucky. I wish I had a friend like that. I envy you. Although, I must say even though my mom and I don't always get along I don't know what I'd do without her.

Save yourself about three grand a year and kick the cig habit. Not only is it an unnecessary expense, but it does not help MS at all.

If I knew someone was wasting money on cigarettes, I probably would not donate to that food fund. Three grand could buy alot of food in a year.

That is such a sweet thing. I'm so glad you got to see that she is an great friend before you wrote her off. Must say I agree with SteveP about the cig habit. Kick it!

Friends lile that are rare and I'm happy for you. My church has been helping me with meals as I haven't been able to return for sometime.

I quit smoking 3 times - the last time for 14 yrs. But when I got diagnosed and developed chronic back pain I started again for 7 yrs. Worst thing I could have done but of course I understand how it happens. When I inhaled I could feel funny feelings in my legs. When I was shown the chemicals in Marlboro light that was enough to make me quit for good. I was walking with a ane then. Its a wheelchair today.

Its your choice to smoke but it is very bad for MS and your health.

We are concerned for you that is why we speak up. And the cost is thru the roof

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
