After the last couple of days, it would seem that we all need to either move to Canada, or we should secede from the US and beg Canada to accept us.

There's more funding for MS in Canada because 1 in 500-1000 Canadians has MS.

CCSVI seems like a wonder treatment, but it also makes me wonder even more what role vitamin D plays in those with MS. The further North you go, the higher the prevalence which links vitamin D to MS (you get vitamin D from the sun and the further North you go, the less sunlight you get).

I hear ya! I felt so much better in the so called summer we had, when I sat outside with my skin exposed to the sun each morning for 20 min. to 1/2 an hour before it became too hot.

Now all I have is 2 little 1000iu white pills. Not the same at all!!!!

It's not a surprise when you consider that Canada has one of the highest rates of MS in the world. The were inendated with calls and e-mails all weekend so I think their hand was forced because their previous response was that they were not funding research at this time. My neuro is a good friend of mine and he told me his phone hasn't stopped ringing. Could you imagine what it was like for the local and national chapters?

Of course! How could they not support this exciting finding? I just hope it can all be fast tracked. Some of us don't have time to wait for years of studies!

Keep e-mailing your MS societies, you state/provincial reprsentatives and your premier/govenor telling them to fast track the vetting process. Spread theword through your friends via facebook by joining the Liberation Treatment group and asking your friend to join and add their voices
