The last few months more noticably the last couple of nights, I've noticed this weird sporatic pulsating sensation that feels like I have the hiccups in my middle abdomen. Never painful (just weird) I've always been curious about that "ominous" MS Hug we've all heard about. In fact I think I posted a similar question a few months ago. Has anyone else had a similar experience or is this just another menopause thing? :o) Thanks Guys!

Doesnt sound like an MS symptom but you never know! I've had the MS hug and it feels like a tight band around your abdomen, kind of like when your pants are too tight...lol..but i would ask your doc about it. Hope it goes away soon.

Sorry, I never heard of the "ominous" MS Hug nor experienced it. But it does sound more MS related than menopause. It sure doesn't seem fair to have to deal with both---MS is more than enough for anybody---but at least menopause doesn't last forever! Good Luck!

I have had that-feels like when I was pregnant and my son would get the hiccups in my belly.

I think it is just the nerve endings firing again.

Not really sure if I have had a ms hug. Had some very instense numbness around stomach for a month ir so with other ms symtoms that I had IV steroids for about 6 yrs ago. Felt like some one tigthened a belt around stomach just thought it was MS. Did not know it mite be a hug. But never heard of a ms hug untill I came on to DS.
Do they do anything different in treating a MS hug than normal ms?
And I know thier is no such thing as normal ms. That everyone symtoms are different but is a ms hug treated different.
I like your question. Hope someone can give you some answer and you find some releaf
