I know this topic has been visited and re-visited, but I'm now having a sharp pain right in the middle of my chest that travels around to my back, and makes it hurt to breathe. It keeps coming and going in waves. It almost feels like I swallowed a pill and it got stuck, only lower. Can anybody confirm for me that this is what their MS hug feels like? I'm really thinking that's what this is, but it is a little scary to have sharp chest pains.

I think you should speak to a doctor as soon as possible. This does sound like a description of the MS "hug" (haha gotta love the terminology) but you should have an appointment to make sure it isn't any kind of heart issue just to be on the safe side. I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with this, it's definitely not fun. Good luck Kristi.

Thanks Kristi! I was just thinking about this today...as it is SEVERE today! Can't hardly breathe, sneeze, laugh, cough, etc!! I feel like I'm suffocating!! My balance/dizziness & nausea is beginning to act up too...along with some other things. NOT fun! Hope everyone else is having a PAIN-FREE VALENTINE'S DAY though! {{Gentle Hugs}}...NOT MS Hugs! ;)
