i think it is put on by the MSF, this will be my first one, the only reason i am able to go is because of my mom, she is paying for it. i think last year they went to the bahamas, that one i would really love to go on. there is a travel agency that works with the multiple sclerosis foundation and they let you make payments. im sorry i dont know how to give links, but look on msf.com or is it msf.org im not sure. sorry. i hope one day a lot of people can go. hugs, kelly

I would LOVE to do an MS vacation but the cruise thing is not for me. I get major motion sickness and the pros tell me I still run the risk of having the problem...

I have seen the ads, and I would love to get together with other MS'er's, just to visit and find friends. But, I too don't think I can afford it, and I truly don't think I'd like a trip to Alaska, just because I have trouble with extreme temperatures, so, cold? or warm...either may be a problem for me. :(
But, if you go, I hope you have a great time! Maybe someday, I will be able to afford to go. I would like to, even if I had to bundle up in many warm layers! Just to find MS friends!!

Alaska is awesome, but in June it is hot weather and not cold. I went to Alask in 2006 to get away from it all after my father died and the cruise was the best thing that ever happened to me. Alaska is a beautiful and worth seeing.

June 18, 2010 from Seattle. I went last time and it was unreal. It made me a stronger person and I made many new friends.

I live in Anchorage. Just so you know, Alaska is not too hot in June. 70F is considered a scorcher. The weather alog the rout that most cruise ships take, is mild and normally in the mid 60s or so. It is a beautiful trip and would be a great vacation for those that are heat sensitive. The ships travel in fairly calm water so if you have balance issues but still want to take a cruise, this is the cruise for you.

Doing Western Carribian first week in July. Probably doing roids treatment in late July. The heat hits me every year on vacation. What cruise line is the ms cruise on.
