Well I found out the results of my MRI. Have a disc disease that makes the discs in my back rupture. I have a cervical disc that has a bone spur that is compressing the spinal cord. Then I have 3 ruptured discs in my low back. first one is ruptured into the spinal cord causing another compressing next one down ruptures to the left causing left side trouble. then the last one ruptures to the right and causes right side trouble. I have an EMG in a couple of weeks to see if I may also have MS on top of that. but the bad news about this is I was told by my doctor to apply for disability because I am going to be in a wheel chair soon and I am going to be completely disabled. This could be causing all of my symptoms mimicking the symptoms of MS. So we will see. I will keep you all posted. Thanks for all of the support so far.

What's the name?
This I believe is terrible news for you, really sorry to hear this and all you are enduring. That's got to be very painful, so I hope Dr has you on meds for that.

It's important to do the disability thing while u are able to. It's better to have all that sorted out, they'll provide the needed equipment.

If he told you the name , you can Google it, find a support group and see what's the prognosis.

There is always hope, my Dr told me I wasn't getting any better, and thanks to my will, I have somewhat.

Oh wow, that is awful. I'm so sorry to hear that. Hopefully they do not find you have MS on top of all of that. I have a ruptured disc in my lower back and it is very painful so I imagine having several of them would be really terrible. My thoughts are with you.

Praying that you don't have MS on top of everything else tloree!! Get some strong pain meds if you don't have them already.

Thank you all. Multilevel disc disease is the only thing he gave me for a name. I have a copy of the MRI so I will have to look at it and see if there is anything on there to help. He only put me on Vicodin until they give me several epidural shots on the 6th of August. I get my lumbar done and then have to make an appointment for the cervical spine.

I went looking for information earlier and found the same thing that you have here but mine is not degenerative. I actually have multilevel disc disease that manafests as disc ruptures which is why I have Cord Compression. I am not looking into cord compression since I am not having as much luck with the multilevel stuff. but thank you so much for finding info for me. And at this point I don't think I can leave. I have all the same symptoms as MS and I think I would miss all you guys.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
