Sorry forgot to ask if there is anything special to bring things up?

I was able to bring up both of mine. The one I had to click on several times to get it to load. I have windows 7, so the newer computers might work better than an older one. If you computer brings up the screen that ask if you want to look at the files or run some weird program, pick the program. I clicked on the files and it does nothing but show you what files are on the disc and no pictures.

I was able to get my to run in my old computer with WindowsXP but not Windows 7. Good luck

I was able to get mine up, too. It is a bit difficult to figure out how to look at the different images (at least it was for me). I thought I could pick out my lesions, but I could only find one. It certainly is amazing to look at your brain!

It depends on how the disk was created. Every disk that I have encountered SO FAR is either a collection of jpegs that any image viewer can open, or most commonly, the disk contains the program needed to view the files along with the images. I have been asked if my computer used Windows or Mac, but one place said theirs worked only with Windows.

If worst comes to worst, take the disk back to the place you got it from and ask to use one of their computers. Often they will have one in the waiting area just for that purpose.

PS Chances are excellent that if you're using Linux, you're either S.O.L. or have figured out how to set up and run WINE. ;-)

I think we all try to find our lesions:) When I brought mine up I was looking for the big bright spots that you see on a lot of the MRI'S. I didn't see those, I really couldn't see anything. When I went & saw my specialist I found out I had 5 lesions so it really is hard to figure things out.

It really is interesting to see your brain & really amazing they are able to find these lesions. Have you been dx yet?

I did put in the disk and it had its own program so I could view it and it also had like a manuel on how to use it so I guess it depends on who does the MRI and what program the doc's want. It is pretty neat to see the things and I did have some 5mm lesions and dawsons finger. Thanks to everyone for your help. Iray I also have a windows 7

mmthlvr yes I do have a DX for MS got it in April of this year but was told I've had it for years and it explained a lot to me of why things were going on

To finally have a dx for all these weird & annoying symptoms was great. Not that we want MS, but it's an answer. I no longer felt like I was crazy. What treatment have you decided on, I'm on Copaxone.
