Give the guy a break. He is trying everything he can to attack MS and improve his health.
Don't be so jaded. Have any of you tried this approach? It sure makes sense to me.
After all Jack Lalane looked like Arnold Schwartznager up to how old? 80? 90??
Thank you CapnCrunch for your thoughtful post.

There's a far larger problem in this country in how celebrities (are even required to) give awareness to a cause. Handsome/pretty people are what lure our attention to a message, and the people in our society who have the most credibility are the ones who pretend to be something they're not for a living.
That said, I think the verdict is in on fruits and vegetables already. I juice once a day now and get more energy out of an 8-oz glass of juice than anything else in my diet An anti-inflammatory diet is smart for the prevention of disease. Fruits and vegetables at least, won't make Montel Williams rich.
I'm on a budget, and SafSlim (sp?) isn't anywhere near worth the cost when we can get a good CLA supplement from GNC (around $20-25 for a 90 day supply).
I'm totally in agreement with the principle of fruits and veggies being a main food source - but I think eating them whole either raw or steamed is plenty sufficient and much easier for me to maintain.
