Thanks everyone!. Thought I would give everyone an update. First, thanks so much for all your support and good wishes. I'm out of the hospital and into a rehab. as of tonight. I was pretty sick it takes a lot for me to go to the hospital,

But I've been having GI problems for two months now and , despite asking several doctors, just couldn't get help. Constipation for 2 straight months, nausea, vomiting and a UTI,

I went to the ER, the Dr came in and asked how she could help me?. WHAT?? I told her to scan my belly which they did and of course my bowel is practically full. They barely did anything and 5 hours later I was released. Went to see my chiropractor who has been monitoring this and he told me go back to the hospital.

I went to another ER, they did a cat scan, found I was completely bound up, had a bad uti and infection. After a few days of very unpleasant stuff, and IV antibiotics I was sent to rehab - been here before.

They say all the meds I am on caused the constipation. But i've been managing for years so why now? Last two months some serious stress has been going on. I have not had time to write about it (journal) but wanted to.

Now I have some hard work ahead of me. I have the internet here so I will be posting.

Wow, Melanie, I'm so sorry it took that many trips to the er to finally get something done! I'm glad you are at rehab now and on the mend. I will be thinking of you, sending prayers and positive energy your way for your speedy recovery so you can go home soon!!

Great to hear you were out of the hospital....Rehab....I could use a little of that myself. Will continue to keep you in my prayers.
