I know exactly how you feel. I took Rebif & hated it! Hated the way it made me feel etc. When I was hospitalized and was told to stop the Rebif I was scared. Even tho I despised it. I was scared what would happen if I stopped it even tho it was for a short time.
I then started Copaxone, much much better. I have not been on it in about 1 1/2 months (due to ins) I worry every day (on top of everything else going on) about whats happening in my head since I am not taking it.
It is really hard to balance. In one hand you want to do everything in your power to prevent MS from progressing. Then in the other hand you dont want to subject yourself to all these meds that alter you or can alter you. I am def with you tho, if we only knew if it was working. However unfortantlly (?) it takes a yr to see any real results from the injections.
I am praying for you!! Hang in there. I know that is much easier said than done & it is so much easier to give it up rather than talk yourself into doing it weekly. Try to focus on something else or award yourself if you can go all week with out getting anxious maybe get a new outfit or something. Crazy I know!! just trying to help. :)

When i was dx i started with Avonex. That needal was the longest i had evrr seen. I couldn't inject myself with it. My husband had to do it. Eversince Avonex i now have a fear of all needles. I often only inject the first 2 shots. I know that's wrong, but i often have the migraine yet.
Is there anyone in your house (that can dp the injection for u? When i have to inject the arms, my 13 year old son will do it. Because the fear/anxiiety around needles my neurologist wrote me a script for XANAX, which is a med for panic attacks/anxiety. Without that med i couldn't do the shot.
Hope this helped.
