Gentle hugs, Linda
I know it frustrates my husband because I ask the same question over & over but it is what it is.
If someone tells me to do something and gives me more than three steps to accomplish the task, I forget the first step. Knowing that, I know that I need to write down anything that has four or more steps.
Here's a funny. I was telling someone just tonight that I needed to buy a new watch, and that I needed one with an elastic waistband. Then I backtracked and said no, an elastic ankle band. Finally I got to wristband. I knew the word I was looking for was a body part, just took me a while to figure out which one. I laughed about it. Come to think about it, "flexible" would have been a better word than "elastic."
On the other hand, I know it bothers him sometimes that I want to watch a show that I have seen three or four times before. I let him know that it helps me go to sleep easier. Lucky for me, he believes that the more sleep I get the fewer symptoms I have.
Good luck
