Hi,
I am really getting worried about my memory. Last Friday, for example, I started telling a co-worker the same thing I had just told her five minutes earlier. This is rather embarrassing! Some days memory is okay. On other days, esp. when I am tired, my memory for some things is horrible! I may have written about this before--but I honestly don't recall! I don't think I am as concerned about the other symptoms I have as I am about my memory. How common is this? Do any of you have the same problem? How bad does it get for you? Between the strength thing (losing it), the hand tingling, and the horrible memory things, I am beginning to think that I am going downhill rapidly and this thought terrifies me. Since I have no new lesions, my doc.has taken a 'no problem' attitude (or that's what I perceive). Help!

However, my neurologist pointed out that I had an advanced case of multiple sclerosis. He was also kind enough to point out he is never seen an MRI as bad as mine. This was quite a kick in the bread tray. As laid-back as I may or may not be about the physical symptoms, I really am terrified my memory will start going too. I don't know how you feel, because I haven't been there. It does make me feel a lot better about this though, seeing people here who have this problem, and watching them communicate with each other coherently. It gives me a very different view on what it would be like, and some sense of relief.
