CW has the right idea. You need to see if you can enroll in a class or something like that. Maybe see if there is a MS support group close to your home you could go to. Why not volunteer for a hotline? I think you would be very good with that. Volunteer at your MS Society chapter to make calls to other MS patients to talk? You need to find something to do to allow you interaction with other people, you are too much of a social person not to. Start a journal entry here to vent some of your frustrations. That becomes a social means of communicating with others. Also, maybe some friendships will grow to where you can call each other on the phone and talk during the day. Do you have any close DS friends now that you can arrange to call? (you can PM me your number and I will call you during the day). You are so full of life Rican, it pains me to see you suffer so. Find a way to beat this lonliness before your flame goes out.
I initially went two years ago to see what people with MS looked like so I would know what I might expect in the future. I have met some wonderful people there, can confide in one of them, have lots of people I can call.
Sometimes a phone call will work if you can't get out for human interaction. I'm alone most of the time too - widowed - today I just listened to the TV because my goal for today was to wrap Christmas presents and the table is in another room. They are done. Feels good to complete a task.
I really recommend a support group. Between my local group and DS, I have lots of people to talk with who know what I'm going through.
I watch far to much tv...lol..your not alone I'm sure many of us understand ....

I know how it feels. I'm not even in the State I spent most of my life in. This was so unbearable I forced myself to start a home business I could handle from home so I started selling Avon. Then I forced myself to join a church. Great people. Best thing I ever did.
Looking for help I was referred to an agency that helps me hire people who can help me stay home.. Funded thru Medicaid. That is mostly helping me with having someone to talk to.
So that is how I survive. I understand people get down and feel lonely. But you need to look around your life and see what resources you have. You have to accept that your life has changed.
Then you have to reach way down inside of yourself and if you are able, come up with a strategy that can help you cope. In the end only you can really help yourself.
