If it's similar to Neurontin be careful because I read somewhere that Neurontion was show to cause a high rate of suicides.

I was trying to remember some of the other meds that are used for the leg pain you mentioned and for the life of me I could not recall them!

They use much lower doses than they do if they were using them for seizures but they do help many people. Keppra, Topamax, and Neurontin are some of them and it seems to have fewer side effects than Topamax which can cause memory issues and brain fog. Neurontin can cause the brain fog bad too as well as weight gain. So I hope the Keppra works well for you.

Of course, everyone does not end up with the same side effects so please do not thing I am trying to scare you off from trying what you need for the pain. THere are many success stories with using these meds and have been life savers for many people so that they can have some kind of quality of life without suffering with the horrific pain.

I tried Keppra for my weird seizures, but it didn't seem to work for them. I liked it though because I didn't notice any side effects. I hope it keeps working for you.
