People at work must think I'm taking the piss, Part of my job is checking about 68 vehicles for faults, (I work for UPS as a mechanic) or going around the fleet repairing reported faults.
UPS know I have MS but accept it.
Now this part of my Job involves a lot of walking, how the hell do I explain, to much is bad for as is to little.
They seem to have stopped taking me seriously and begun turning thier backs.
Understand this not UPS as a whole but my bosses at our depot in the uk. Constantly telling me since we took over Lynx (another parcel company) we are now over staffed so get on with it.

"overstaffed"? That sounds like a threat... Don't you have laws in the UK that protect you if you have an illness? If you do, I would gently remind them. Or bring in a printout of the law and post it for them. :)

YES I ALSO AGREE. CHECK OUT WHAT UR RIGTHS R AS AN EMPLOYEE IS AND BRING THAT 2 THEIR ATTENTION. LET THEM KNOW U KNOW UR RIGHTS AND WILL STAND BEHIND THEM AND IF THE SEE THEIR WAY 2 VIOALTE THOSE RIGHT U WILL IT 2 THE ATTENTION OF THE COMPANY. GOOD LUCK, STAY STRONG DON'T BACK DOWN..

There HAS to be some law that protects you from something like this! Make sure your insurances are in order and may think about going on disability. Its better than being fired. ~hugs~

I had the same problem. Unfortunately, I was fired from my job after going out on short term disability. However, I received full disability and did not have to deal with the constant stress of the people at work who clearly did not understand what it is like to suffer from the symptoms of MS. Hang in there as long as you can, but dude, if it starts to stress you out and effect your health, do what is best for you. Your health is more important. Take care.

This is a great form of harrassment in the US and I would be headed straight to an attorney...however..since you are in the UK....check out the laws and act accordingly.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
