Hi, I'm getting really concerned with all this new jerking going on. The other day I was walking to the waste basket with some trash in my right hand and my arm jerked out so hard I almost threw the trash across the room.
Then I needed to hand my license to a clerk and when I went to hand it to her my hand and arm jerked so bad I threw it at her....I felt like such a fool and so embarrassed.
Then last night evertime I started to fall to sleep I would jerk so hard it would wake me up...it was either an arm or a leg or my left shoulder.
My left should jerked hard three times then one time so hard I thought it would hurt or be sore this morning but I feel nothing wrong with it.
I was so scared with that last jerk because it felt so strange inside my body like electricity and someone actually yanking on my shoulder.
Has anyone had this happened before and what could be causing this to happen?
Im sorry I haven't been around to help with support to everyone, I'm battling a very bad depression right now...Hope to be back soon.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...

There are 3 choices of medicine available to try and calm things down.
There are a lot of difficult things that come with MS. The key to trying to live in comfort is to learn how to manage it. A good Doctor would be helpful but that is not always easy to find.
I manage by research - trying to find out what is available to treat the problem. And you are already on that path by being a member here where there is a vast amount of knowledge and experience.

I also have the mouth spasms when I lay down and also tongue spasms....lips tingle anytime of day.
